David Kila-Pat Unveils DIKDIK at PNG Fashion Week 2026

Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea – 21 September 2026 – Papua New Guinean designer David Kila-Pat presented his latest all-men’s collection, DIKDIK, at PNG Fashion Week 2026, delivering a bold celebration of contemporary masculinity, cultural identity and creative freedom.

The collection, presented under Kila-Pat’s Maimai Designs label, brought together strong tailoring, dramatic silhouettes, flowing garments and expressive styling. Shell detailing, woven elements, sculptural headwear and other culturally inspired adornments were combined with contemporary construction to create a distinctive vision of modern Papua New Guinean menswear.

Each look contributed to a broader story about identity and the many ways masculinity can be represented through fashion. Structured pieces communicated strength and authority, while softer silhouettes and fluid garments introduced movement, elegance and vulnerability.

Through bold proportions, dramatic layering and unexpected construction, DIKDIK challenged conventional ideas about men’s clothing.
