LITTLE MR & MISS PNG — A CELEBRATION OF OUR FUTURE
Little Mr & Miss PNG is not a pageant, and it is not a competition — it is a heartfelt celebration of our children, our culture, and our future.
Designed for young participants aged 6 to 12, this program creates a safe, uplifting space where children can express themselves, build confidence, and proudly embrace who they are. At its core, it honours the rich cultural diversity of Papua New Guinea — recognising that no culture is greater than another, but that each one carries its own beauty, strength, and story.
Rather than judges, the program is guided by our respected Aunty Badadia — cultural mentors and role models who nurture, support, and empower each child throughout the journey. They are not there to compare, but to guide, encourage, and celebrate.
Every child is acknowledged for their unique qualities — from kindness and confidence to joy, presence, and spirit. While two participants will be selected as the faces of the program, this is not about being “the best,” but about representing the heart, values, and energy of the experience.
Little Mr & Miss PNG is about growth, pride, identity, and belonging — a beautiful reminder that every child deserves to be seen, celebrated, and empowered to shine.
Little Mr & Miss PNG 2026
For 2026, this beautiful celebration will take place from 2–4 April 2026 at Vision City Mega Mall, Port Moresby, as part of Port Moresby Fashion Week. Across three inspiring days, our young participants (ages 6–12) will take the stage in a safe, uplifting environment designed to build confidence, self-expression, and cultural pride.
Program Highlights (2026):
Day 1: Finding Your Voice — self-introduction and confidence building
Day 2: Confidence & Presence — runway and self-expression
Day 3: Cultural Showcase — celebrating identity through traditional wear, followed by a joyful closing celebration
