PORT MORESBY, Papua New Guinea — Vendor applications are now officially open for PNG Fashion Week 2026, creating an exciting opportunity for small businesses, entrepreneurs, artisans and corporate brands to trade at one of Papua New Guinea’s most anticipated creative events.

The PNG Fashion Week Markets will operate from 9:00 am until 11:00 pm on Friday, 18 September and Saturday, 19 September 2026, at APEC Haus in Port Moresby.

Approved vendors will have the opportunity to present their products and services to designers, models, industry professionals, media representatives, corporate partners and members of the public attending PNG Fashion Week.

Applications are welcomed from fashion and retail businesses, artisans, jewellery and accessories brands, beauty and wellness providers, artists, cultural enterprises, corporate organisations and other businesses offering quality products or services.

Please note that food and beverage vendor spaces are not available.

This is more than an opportunity to rent a space and sell products. It is an invitation to become part of a national platform that celebrates creativity, enterprise and Papua New Guinean talent.

Small businesses are the heartbeat of Papua New Guinea’s economy. Across the country, individuals and families are transforming their skills, knowledge and creativity into sustainable sources of income. From mothers sewing garments and artisans creating traditional crafts to young entrepreneurs building contemporary brands, small businesses are strengthening households and communities.

Events such as PNG Fashion Week provide these enterprises with something every growing business needs: visibility.

By bringing vendors into the PNG Fashion Week environment, the platform creates a direct connection between local entrepreneurs and potential customers, collaborators and industry contacts. The extended trading hours allow businesses to engage with different audiences throughout each day, including visitors attending the markets, workshops, activations and runway programs.

For participating businesses, the benefits can continue long after the final sale is made. Vendors can introduce their products to new audiences, strengthen brand recognition, create promotional content, receive customer feedback and establish relationships that may lead to future orders and collaborations.

The initiative is closely connected to PNG Fashion Week’s broader mission of developing an entire creative economy—not only supporting the designers whose collections appear on the runway, but also recognising the many businesses and professionals who contribute to the wider industry.

Fashion is connected to textile production, tailoring, photography, beauty, modelling, jewellery, cultural arts, entertainment, tourism, marketing, media and retail. When these sectors are brought together, they generate employment, circulate money through local communities and create new pathways for Papua New Guineans to participate in the economy.

PNG Fashion Week is also inviting corporate organisations to establish a presence at the event. Corporate stalls provide businesses with an opportunity to engage directly with audiences, promote their products and services, strengthen brand visibility and demonstrate meaningful support for Papua New Guinea’s creative industries.

Vendor fees have been structured to accommodate both SMEs and corporate participants.

SME Vendor Fees

  • One-Day Stall — K200

  • Two-Day Stall — K300

Corporate Vendor Fees

  • One-Day Stall — K500

  • Two-Day Stall — K900

Every purchase made from a small business has an impact. It can help a parent pay school fees, allow an entrepreneur to purchase additional materials, support employment or give a young person the confidence to continue developing their idea.

When Papua New Guineans buy locally, they are doing more than purchasing a product. They are investing in someone’s talent, strengthening a household and contributing to the growth of the national economy.

PNG Fashion Week is calling on creative entrepreneurs, established businesses, promising start-ups and corporate organisations to take advantage of this opportunity. Whether you produce clothing, jewellery, accessories, beauty products, art, crafts or other retail products, this is your opportunity to bring your business into the heart of PNG Fashion Week.

Vendor spaces are limited, and interested businesses are encouraged to apply early.

PNG Fashion Week 2026 will take place on Friday, 18 September and Saturday, 19 September 2026, at APEC Haus, Port Moresby. The vendor marketplace will operate from 9:00 am to 11:00 pm on both days.
